K-Bomb & The Kool Whips

Kristen (K-Bomb) McClellan (originally from Portland, Maine) has resided in Raleigh, North Carolina for the majority of her adult life. She is the founder and lead singer of the party band K-Bomb & the Kool Whips. She enjoys connecting with audience members to create a fun, energetic, positive environment. This involves performing popular songs from all genres and eras to be all inclusive and provide something for everyone.

Kristen studied voice, acting, and dance at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City (AMDA NYC). Since then she has performed in countless theatre productions, commercials, independent film, print work, party bands, and featured vocals on album recordings. 

Kristen has a passion for bringing people together to create memorable experiences through a shared love of music. With a mix of pop, country, grunge, rock, blues, disco, indy, punk…. you name it, she sings it! Her goal is always to provide songs that everyone knows and loves to keep them singing along and dancing all day/night long!
